Parenting Seminar: Parenting through Worry & Anxiety

On Friday, October 10th, Pastor Kim Kira from Lighthouse Community Church in Torrance CA will present to us a seminar on worry and anxiety. Pastor Kim says, "If you are a parent, then worry is a part of your life. But we must not forget that what most significantly makes us Christian parents, is that we parent out of our faith in Christ. And that faith allows us to approach the gravity of the parenting task with all the twists and turns, with all the questions and confusion, with all the suffering and weariness, and have hearts that rest. In this seminar we will see how we can rest in Christ and find more joy in our parenting task."
