1. What do you think it means “to live is Christ”? 
2. Think about the sermon illustration of experiencing the ultimate “onoliciousness” of Wagyu beef for the first time and explain the difference between a person who knows, understands, and agrees wholeheartedly with the truths of Christ vs. a person who actually knows Jesus Christ.
3. Describe a person who truly lives by the motto: “to live is Christ and to die is gain”.
4. Think about these phrases: “To live is wife and family”, “To live is fame, wealth, and power”, “To live is my job”, “To live is pleasure and satisfaction”.  Why do none of these phrases make ultimate logical sense?  Why does “To live is Christ” make absolute logical sense?
5. How does the power and presence of Christ allow Christians to confidently state, “to die is gain”?  Related to this question: why do Christians no longer need to fear death?
