- What are some ways in which we fall prey into believing that the world will go on and that Jesus Christ will not return? While we would never deny his return, do our lives show consistency with what we confess?
- If Christ's return is one of judgement then what should our aim be to the unbelieving world? What should be the priority of our ministry towards the unbelieving world?
- Has the danger of materialism or the influence of social media taken hold of our hearts? What do we treasure more than worship, communion with God, the fellowship of believers?
- Peter warns believers that we don’t know when Jesus will return and that He will come like a thief in the night. Nevertheless, His return is imminent. How are we daily reminding ourselves to stay awake and to not be asleep in this world? How can you ensure that God's thoughts prevail in our hearts over against the world's thoughts?
