Discussion Questions
- How would you describe the Kingdom of God? What is required for a person to become a citizen in God’s Kingdom?
- When you see the situation of the world today, are you encouraged or discouraged? Is Christianity growing or shrinking?
- Why do you think it was important for Jesus to remind His followers that the Kingdom of God was going to grow (like a tiny mustard seed and leaven) and that it would one day spread to all people (every kind and sort of bird would nest in its branches Ezekiel 17:23)
- What do you think is the main reason for Christianity’s growth over the past 2,000 years? Why should that give you confidence that it will continue to grow for the next 2,000 years?
- Should the gospel message be updated for modern man, in order to reach a new generation of people? Why or why not?
