  1. Why do you think the men guarding Jesus were so cruel to Him? Do you know people like this?

  2. Do you think you could ever be as wicked as the guards who beat Jesus?  Or is there an inherent goodness within, that would keep you from that kind of evil?  If the latter, where does that goodness come from?

  3. Why do you think the Jewish religious leaders judged and condemned the Son of God?  Do you ever judge God, put Him on trial? If so, how is your judgment different from the Jewish religious leaders?

  4. How does knowing that Jesus willingly suffered and died for your sins help you?

  5. How does knowing that Jesus sits at the right hand of the power of God help you?
