Discussion Questions

  1. Why does Jesus weep over Jerusalem?  What does this tell you about Jesus’ heart for the lost?

  2. America, if not the world, is becoming more and more divided, angry, and violent over a multitude of issues.  What do you think is the biblical solution for peace?  In your opinion, how practical is this solution to bring peace to the Russia/Ukraine war or the latest war in the Middle East?

  3. Describe what true worship of God is and why it is so important to Him.

  4. What does righteous anger look like?  Why does Jesus have such righteous anger against religious hypocrisy?  In what way can even well meaning Christians, fall into religious hypocrisy?  (Were the Pharisees well meaning?)

  5. How is Jesus our King different from worldly leaders? Would Jesus make a good president of the United States?
